I love long discussions about all things spiritual,
religious,
ethical and morality. I feel a spiritual connectedness when discussing ideas with friends and family. I also love long walks in the country watching stars or sitting quietly in the tall grass prairie looking at the marvels of creation. I notice beauty where most people do not. I love journal writing about dreams,

Teachers:

One of my heroes is one of my old teachers. He has the ability to read other people's energy and body language. He is able to rest in the witness at almost all times and can bring that perspective to his work and relationships with others. He is not afraid to be who he is around others and has a quiet confidence that lets you know that he won't back down. He uses humour and perceptive comments to wake you up and become aware when you are with him. I can feel his giving energy when I am with him.

Books:

John Ralston Saul - taught me that rational thought is not supreme. He showed me that a variety of other kinds of thought have as much truth as rationalism. Margaret Sommerville - The Ethical Imagination has awoken a sense of sacredness for the human spirit and shows what moral relativism will lead to if we continue creating technologies without thought given to ethics.
